I’m pretty fond of a Wedding Fair – I Love the chance to escape from my workroom & the computer in order to actually get to meet Brides-to-Be in the flesh & talk to them about all things fabulously fluffy!
From the moment I was invited to be part of The Vintage Wedding Fayre in Bath, I knew it was going to be an exciting event – an opportunity to meet Brides who were looking for something that little bit different, sometimes with a nod to bygone eras fills me with great glee!
The Bath Pavilion is a gorgeous building, although I was slightly disappointed we didn’t get to see the worlds largest GLITTER BALL in action (you know me & my addiction to all things sparkly……..) – a lovely open space, that allowed for plenty of stands without leaving you feeling overwhelmed with no idea where to start! I opted for a “Less is more” approach on this occasion, bringing with me the pieces I thought would be most popular at this event – as anticipated, a lot of LOVE was shown to the hand crocheted Dress and I’m excited to hopefully get to work with the Lovely Brides who expressed interest in ordering them!
It was also the 1st outing for my AMAZING new Hoodie from Direct Embroidery – I was so pleased with how this turned out, and I hope to be able to order a few more in the not too distant future!
Not surprisingly, these events are hugely popular with suppliers, but I have popped my hat into the ring for the 2015 Fayres – I just have to hope now that they can squeeze me & my fluffy stuff in!
