I am EXHAUSTED…….but in a good way, if that makes sense or is even possible??
Friday last week saw me loading the Mrs W Mobile at silly o’clock, collecting my right hand woman (aka, Mrs E) & heading off into the great unknown, more commonly known as EventCity, Manchester, for The NorthWest Wedding Fair.
We arrived mid morning after a surprisingly straight forward trip, located our stand (which, much to our delight, was a stones throw from the loading bay doors) and proceeded to work our magic to show off all the glorious fluff we had brought with us!
Doors to the Show opened at 5pm on Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors we had that evening (even if our feet didn’t necessarily agree with us at the point!) – we were also incredibly lucky to have such lovely in stand neighbours in the form of Stuart Appleyard Videography, Carolines Cake Company, Bloomsbury Music and 2sCompany Popcakes………Besides meeting lovely Brides-to-Be, for me one of the highlights of any Wedding Fair is being able to interact with your fellow exhibitors because their company and support makes the long days a lot easier!
Saturday and Sunday were most definitely A LOT busier, but we were so lucky to be able to have the opportunity to meet and talk to such a wide range of Brides and their families/friends without feeling swamped or that we had to rush or not give them our full help and attention – by the sounds of things, there are some truly wonderfully creative Weddings currently in the planning and I am excited to be able to (hopefully) be involved in them!
If you did come and say Hello, then THANK YOU for taking the time to stop and chat with us – we loved meeting you all……….if you have any questions, would like to see some Tulle sample, discuss your ideas some more or even get yourself pencilled in on my magic Wall planner then please don’t hesitate to drop me an email, tweet or FB message – I would be honoured to talk with you some more!
I would like to say an extra special, fluffy love filled Thank You to Mrs E for ALL of her hard work and support this weekend – she gave up her weekend, suffered the sore feet and yet continued to smile and give it her all……..it honestly would not have been possible without her and for this (and everything else) and I grateful from the bottom of my heart!
