The shape of this Dress may seem slightly familiar – that’s because this is an Ivory version of the Blue Winter Princess Dress that I shared with you a few weeks ago! (so no, you weren’t just imagining things……)
I made this Dress to take with me to The Wedding Fairs in Manchester last weekend – she did, in fact, come with me……but once we got set up, space was such that we felt that she didn’t have enough room to be shown in all her glory, so we popped her back in the car for another occasion!
This Dress is made up of a very full & fluffy Tutu, attached to a lined, stretch crochet bodice – there is then a large organza overskirt, that gathers & ties at the front with a satin ribbon bow! The little cap sleeves can be made to match the overskirt, or can be swapped for ribbons if you prefer!
As with all Mrs W Tutus Dresses, details can be added, removed or changed as necessary – the 2 ribbon flowers can be removed or we could add more (and in other colours too) and I could also add a sash to the waist if required.
With a certain film, about a certain Princess, hitting the cinemas very soon, I genuinely believe that the Ballgown is going to become a very popular shape for both Bridal & Flower Girls gowns – fret not lovely folk, Mrs W has your back!
